Unstructured Content is the most flexible of these different types, simply because it can be whatever you want it to be. You can create lists and tables, insert images and links to anywhere on the internet, write text, or do anything else that a basic word processor will allow you to do. The form that is used to create such a page will look like this:
To go along with what has been mentioned above, this form works like a basic word processor. You can format text, create lists and tables, insert links and images, ect., using the buttons on the top of the form much in the same sense as you would a basic word processor.
Click on the "Update" button on the form to save your content once you are finished adding it.
Keep in mind, however, that as you are creating this content, you are creating content for a small-screen device. And as such, you will not be wanting to create, for example, a table that is 500 pixels wide for a screen that is only 320 pixels wide, which is usually the typical smart phone screen size. If you create your content in this sense, it will not display the way you would intend for it to be on the device.
Also keep in mind that while the Unstructured Content form does work the same way a basic word processor would, the formatting code in an actual word processor will not be compatible enough with a web-based mobile application such as this for you to simply copy and paste content from one. If you wish to do this, you will need to "paste" the content "as plain text", which you can do via the fifth button from the left on the top row of the form. When you click on this button, the following popup will appear:
This is where you will be able to paste the content from your word processor. Once you have done this, click on the "OK" button.
Another thing to keep in mind is that there are in fact different screen-sizes for different mobile devices. This can make inserting images problematic, because an image that looks good on one mobile device may not quite as well on another. Always remember to size and place your images with this in mind.
And finally, in remembering that the content looks much different on a mobile device than it does in your web browser, you will need to re-size your browser to better fit the size-ratio of the screen on the mobile devices you are developing for while testing the changes you make to the application. You will only be able to perform these tests in your web browser.
It is also important to remember that the nature of the application requires you to reload the home page in order to view these changes.
